Job summary

GFT is seeking a Project Manager – Software & Digital Solutions to support a variety of software development, application implementation, and digital solution projects in the Mid-Atlantic Region. This role follows a hybrid work model out of our Richmond, VA office.

We are looking for a motivated, organized professional with leadership skills and a proven track record in software projects. The role emphasizes customer focus and delivering high quality results on every project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; PMP certification preferred or progress toward PMP with plan for completion.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive project management experience, including software development and/or application implementation.
• Experience managing software development and/or application delivery projects; familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery.
• Proficiency in communicating with personnel at all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage assigned projects in accordance with PM and QMS requirements; proactively complete PM activities.
• Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, client relationships, and team coordination.
• Lead and facilitate meetings; prepare agendas and detailed meeting minutes.
• Review and validate project deliverables for completeness and compliance.
• Direct cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, technical leads, and SMEs.
• Develop and distribute regular status reports.
• Monitor project performance and track against timelines and budgets.
• Maintain logs for action items, issues, and risks.
• Understand, apply, and ensure compliance with PM and QMS processes and standards.
• Resolve project-related issues in collaboration with internal teams and clients.
• Contribute to drafting task orders, proposal development, and business development.
