Job summary

Glumac, a Tetra Tech company, seeks a Project Manager in Austin, TX for hybrid work two days in office. You will lead projects from concept through execution, balancing client leadership, project execution, and financial performance while collaborating with engineering teams on high-volume work.

The role requires a mechanical or electrical engineering background, 5+ years of PM experience, strong communication, and ability to manage schedules, budgets, staffing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant project management or related technical experience.
• Background in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Proven ability to manage project schedules, budgets, and staffing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Hybrid work environment with two in-office days per week; U.S. work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day project management activities from kickoff through completion
• Manage project financials, ensuring accurate budgeting, planning, invoicing, and revenue recognition.
• Coordinate schedules, staffing, milestones, and deliverables across project teams
• Partner with clients and design teams to ensure clear communication and alignment
• Proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and keep projects moving forward
• Support quality control processes and help maintain strong technical standards
• Build and maintain client relationships that support repeat work and long-term growth
• Contribute to backlog and revenue goals through effective project delivery and client service
