Job summary

Glumac, a Tetra Tech company, is seeking a Project Manager to lead technical projects in the Central Region. You will manage schedules, budgets, staffing, and QA while working closely with clients, engineering teams, and design collaborators to deliver value and protect margins.

The role requires a mechanical or electrical engineering background, strong communication, and the ability to thrive in a hybrid, fast-paced environment with two in-office days weekly in San Francisco.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant project management or related technical experience.
• Background in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Proven ability to manage project schedules, budgets, and staffing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and commute to the office.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day project management activities from kickoff through completion.
• Manage project financials including budgeting, planning, invoicing, and revenue recognition.
• Coordinate schedules, staffing, milestones, and deliverables across project teams.
• Partner with clients and design teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.
• Proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and keep projects moving forward.
• Support quality control processes and maintain strong technical standards.
• Build and maintain client relationships that support repeat work and long-term growth.
• Contribute to backlog and revenue goals through effective project delivery and client service.
