Job summary

Glumac in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead technical projects from conception through execution, ensuring schedules, budgets, staffing, and quality stay on track. You will collaborate with clients, internal teams, and design partners to protect margins and drive repeat business in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of project management or related technical experience.
• Background in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Proven ability to manage project schedules, budgets, and staffing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and commute to an office.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; this position is not eligible for current or future employment visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day project management activities from kickoff through completion.
• Manage project financials, including budgeting, planning, invoicing, and revenue recognition.
• Coordinate schedules, staffing, milestones, and deliverables across project teams.
• Partner with clients and design teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.
• Proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and keep projects moving forward.
• Support quality control processes and maintain strong technical standards.
• Build and maintain client relationships to support repeat work and long-term growth.
• Contribute to backlog and revenue goals through effective project delivery and client service.
