Job summary

Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Project Manager in the United States. You will manage customer project orders, lead teams, and ensure project processes are followed for consistent results.

This role blends planning, execution, and closeout activities with significant travel expectations. The position is hybrid; you must be within 40 miles of designated offices and report up to three days weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• PMP certification.
• 5+ years of project management experience leading technical projects.
• Excellent communicator, decision maker and team builder.
• Strong leadership and collaborative work style.
• Proficient in MS Office and MS Project or schedule tools.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects with moderate size and complexity.
• Direct and guide managed customer projects and teams.
• Ensure compliance with Customer Projects Process for consistent results.
• Monitor metrics to improve critical functions and project outcomes.
• Maintain schedules and communicate expectations to customers.
• Coordinate with internal manufacturing and vendors.
• Plan, communicate and manage project risks.
• Provide sales support during quotation and prep phases when needed.
• Oversee tendering of engineered projects.
• Monitor lifecycle progress, verify tasks, report schedules, and resolve issues.
• Resolve problems to deliver positive customer feedback and stronger relationships.
• Close out projects with financial reconciliation and installation readiness.
• Travel >50% may be required.
