Job summary

Duke Energy's Project Management Internship offers hands-on experience supporting planning, coordination, and execution of critical projects that deliver safe, reliable, and sustainable energy to customers.

You will work alongside experienced project managers, developing leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills in a hybrid, field, and onsite environment. Housing stipends may be available where applicable.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a four-year degree program in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
• Must not graduate prior to August 2027.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Project planning, scheduling, and coordination activities.
• Tracking project milestones, deliverables, and budgets.
• Preparing and maintaining project documentation and reports.
• Supporting stakeholder communications and meeting coordination.
• Identifying and tracking project risks and action items.
• Monitoring project performance metrics and progress updates.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support successful project execution.

Education

Four-year degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field

Must not graduate prior to August 2027

Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher
