Job summary

Duke Energy offers a Project Management Internship across locations in North Carolina and Florida. Interns support planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting while learning directly from experienced project managers.

Opportunities span Transmission and CCP initiatives with hands-on exposure to large-scale projects. Ideal candidates are pursuing a four-year degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management, with a minimum 2.75 GPA and not graduating before August 2027.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four-year degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
• Must not graduate prior to August 2027.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination activities.
• Track milestones, deliverables, and budgets.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports.
• Support stakeholder communications and meeting coordination.
• Identify and track project risks and action items.
• Monitor project performance metrics and progress updates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project execution.
