Collins Aerospace in Aguadilla, PR is seeking a hybrid Project Engineer to join our growing engineering team. The role emphasizes project planning, budgeting, and coordination across IPTs for Mission Systems programs.

Responsibilities include managing schedules, tracking progress, and ensuring IMS alignment. Collaboration with Software and Systems teams, plus strong English communication and US citizenship, are required for the role.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 2 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Knowledge and experience in project management tools, like Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsabilités

• Use project engineering tools, like Agile methodology, to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for different projects.
• Support Integrated Product Teams (IPT) in different aspects of the Bid and Proposal process for Mission Systems, as coordinate meetings and management of proposals data.
• Record and document delays, changes in scope, and any other incidents that impact on the scope of work or schedule to ensure smooth project operations.
• Identify project risks, opportunities and mitigation plans for impacted projects.
• Conduct meetings and consolidate and present plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project.
• Liaise between different engineering disciplines, as Software and Systems teams.
• Review project and budget status, manage schedules, and prepare reports.
• Meet program schedules and budgets, and support maintain the integrated master schedules (IMS) for the project.
