Job summary

RTX Corporation is seeking a Project Engineer for a hybrid role in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. You will independently manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and progress while coordinating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate holds a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering degree with aerospace/gas turbine experience and familiarity with MS Office, Teamcenter, SAP, and MS Project. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 2 years of engineering experience or an advanced degree with GPA 3.0+.
• Experience in the Aerospace industry.
• Experience with gas turbine compressor systems.
• Experience using scheduling tools such as MS Project and ERP tools (Teamcenter, SAP).

Responsibilities

• This position is for a Project Engineering professional working independently.
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, track progress and forecasts.
• Coordinate with functional units and manage project risk.
• Identify problems, analyze data, and develop solutions to meet deadlines.
• Support engineering change execution and maintain progress reports.
