Job summary

George Washington University’s School of Medicine and Health Sciences is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Population Health and Health Equity (PHHE) Pillar. The role focuses on project tracking, workflow management, and internal logistics, serving as the hub between faculty leadership and central SMHS admin teams.

You will manage timelines, documentation, and reporting milestones with a hybrid on-site presence in Washington, DC.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 3 years of relevant professional experience, or a Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant area; degree required by start date.
• Preferred experience in an academic medical center or school of public health supporting executive leadership.
• Familiarity with university administrative systems (Concur, iBuy, EAS, Workday).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the internal project manager for pillar research initiatives and maintain project plans and timelines.
• Coordinate with central SMHS Pre- and Post-Award teams to gather documentation for proposals and grant setups.
• Track post-submission IRB documentation and renewal dates; assist with logistics for Office of Human Research.
• Maintain internal dashboards and reporting schedules across pillar studies.
• Coordinate meetings, site visits, sub-recipient check-ins, and advisory panel sessions.
• Provide executive support including calendar management and complex travel arrangements.
