Job summary

The Project Controls Manager will lead MTA Construction & Development’s efforts to implement and oversee project controls for a significant component of the MTA Capital Program within the Delivery Department. Responsible for managing cost estimating, scheduling, project risk, cost control, and related project reporting functions to support complex capital projects.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring data integrity and timely reporting while driving efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
• Minimum of six years of related experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Focus and ability to deliver on results, organizational effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
• Excellent team-building, listening, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
• Proficient in Windows, MS Office, PeopleSoft, Oracle, and related admin tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provides cost, schedule, and risk management leadership post-project appraisal and lessons learned activities.
• Lead preparation of updated operating budget impact analysis to reflect updated client requirements & functional scope of work.
• Update integrated project scheduling to identify and track access requirements, project interdependencies, Agency/Owner sequencing constraints, and project handover activities.
