Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Manager, Project Controls in The Woodlands, TX, to lead a team overseeing cost, schedule, WBS, and risk management for multi-billion-dollar projects within Entergy’s portfolio.

The role provides strategic guidance, coaching, and training to project controls personnel, ensuring best practices and high-quality reporting while aligning with the company’s stage gate process. Hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 7 years of Mega Project experience (>$500M) or experience leading a multi-billion-dollar portfolio.
• Experience with cost control, scheduling, and risk management fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Manage, support and develop a team of Project Control Managers, project Control Specialists, and Project Analysts in Entergy’s Project Controls framework.
• Oversee cost control activities including accrual forecasting, earned value analysis, EAC, ETC, and monthly change management reporting.
• Support the creation and maintenance of integrated master schedules; review and publish monthly reporting.
• Collaborate with project teams to manage risk registers, mitigation plans, change management, and contingency analysis documentation.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to validate cost, schedule, and risk for quality reporting models.
• Identify gaps in project controls and implement improvements to strengthen controls.
