Job summary

Entergy seeks a Project Controls Manager to ensure comprehensive cost, schedule, scope, and risk controls on major projects. You will coach and support Project Controls Specialists and integrate with the PM team to ensure on-time, on-budget execution.

The role requires extensive knowledge of PM standards, SGP compliance, and QRA, with 25%-50% travel. Onsite work in Texas with Entergy’s risk-aware culture and strong regulatory reporting support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field, or 8 years equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6 years of capital project management and/or project controls experience with a focus on project controls.
• Experience on large-scale capital projects.
• Experience with EPC contract type and owner/contractor project controls.
• PM standards and quantitative risk analysis knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements PM standards for cost, schedule, scope, WBS and risk management on assigned projects.
• Performs rigorous project assessments to ensure compliance with Entergy's SGP and PM standards; serves as SGP Gate Reviewer.
• Trains on Entergy SGP, PM standards and QRA.
• Analyzes and reports on project portfolio risks and forecasts.
• Coordinates with schedulers to integrate Owner's and contractors' schedules into the master schedule.
• Prepares cost reports and forecasts with Cost Analysts.
• Performs schedule analytics and monitors contractual schedule compliance.
• Validates Estimate At Completion and forecast.
• Manages Change Management and documents changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work is performed in both office and field settings.
