Job summary

Mace in New York is seeking a Senior Project Controls professional to support the Gateway Development Commissions program. You will work with package schedulers, perform critical path and cost analyses, and ensure alignment with contract and program milestones.

You will translate cost data into risk-informed insights for leadership, maintain risk registers, and help with mitigation strategies. The role offers hybrid working options and the opportunity to contribute to a landmark infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
• Experience supporting major infrastructure or transportation projects, preferably at the contract or package level.
• Strong analytical capability and attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills suitable for senior stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with delivery managers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated expertise in: Schedule interpretation and critical path analysis; Cost analysis, forecasting, and trend interpretation; Risk identification and management.

Responsibilities

• Interpret schedule performance and key drivers with package-level schedulers.
• Perform critical path, float, and variance analyses.
• Advise on schedule impacts, changes, delays, and resequencing.
• Support cost reports, forecasts, and trends at contract package level.
• Translate cost data into forward-looking insights with delivery managers.
• Maintain contract-level risk registers with focus on cost and schedule exposure.
• Identify emerging risks through trend analysis and delivery intelligence.
• Ensure alignment between contract and program milestones.
• Ensure compliance with PMP, contract requirements, and governance.
• Support audit readiness and responses related to project controls.
