Job summary

thyssenkrupp nucera USA Inc in Houston is seeking a Project Billing Analyst to ensure accurate and timely invoicing for our project portfolio. You will collaborate with Project Management, Commercial, Finance, and Services teams to issue invoices in accordance with contracts and accounting standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and at least three years in billing or project accounting, with strong knowledge of invoicing, financial controls, and ERP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of billing, accounts receivable, project accounting, or related finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of invoicing processes, financial controls, collections, cost control and reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to travel 5%–10%.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process customer invoices, milestone and progress billings, and final invoices per contract terms.
• Review contracts, purchase orders and supporting docs for billing accuracy.
• Maintain billing plans and schedules within the ERP system.
• Process invoice adjustments, credit/debit memos, and cancellations.
• Reconcile billing transactions and assist month-end/year-end close.
• Support audits with billing documentation and transaction support.
• Identify opportunities to improve billing processes and reporting efficiency.
• Maintain accurate customer, contract and project billing records with supporting docs.
