Job summary

LaBella Associates is seeking an Accounting Associate to join our fast-paced Accounting Department. You will manage monthly project billing for multiple Project Managers, work with project staff and the Accounting team to ensure accurate invoicing, and support finance through reports and data analysis.

In-person training is required, followed by a potential hybrid schedule. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of accounting and strong Excel skills, with knowledge of project-based accounting software

Qualifications

• Three+ years of accounting experience, preferably in architecture, engineering, consulting or other professional services.
• Knowledge of Billing practices required; Accounts Receivable/Payable experience a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or similar project-based accounting software preferred.
• Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly project billing for multiple Project Managers.
• Collaborate with project staff and Accounting team to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
• Provide financial support through generating reports and data analysis.
• Handle special projects as assigned.
