Bickel Group Architecture is seeking a Project Architect/Manager with relevant project experience to join our team in Newport Beach, CA. You will guide projects from concept through construction administration, delivering well-designed projects with care, and collaborating with a dynamic team.

The role emphasizes leadership, communication, and problem-solving to ensure successful project outcomes and client satisfaction across design phases and entitlements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
• Licensed Architect preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant architectural experience preferred.
• Effective written, graphic, and verbal communication skills.
• Superior organization skills with the ability to prioritize and adapt.
• Able to work effectively with a variety of team compositions.
• Effective at creative problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead project coordination through all design/construction phases.
• Manage client and team relationships with proactive communication.
• Participate and oversee design processes, including due diligence, feasibility studies, and schematic design.
• Balance design intent with code, programmatic, and budget needs.
• Resolve technical and design challenges creatively.
• Interface with local jurisdictions and entitlement/plan check approvals.
• Oversee accuracy and quality of project delivery documents.
• Provide mentorship, leadership, and support to the team.
