Job summary

BNP Associates, Inc. is seeking a Project Accountant to join our team in a hybrid role. You will monitor project financials, liaise with project managers, and ensure data integrity for domestic and international projects.

The position supports month-end close, invoicing, and cost reconciliation across multiple projects. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance with 0–2 years of experience, strong communication skills, and experience with Deltek Vantagepoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent).
• 0-2 years of accounting or finance experience; internships welcome.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project financials and generate reports on status, budgets, and performance.
• Serve as liaison between accounting and project managers for financial questions.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date project data for domestic and international projects.
• Support month-end closings and project close-out processes.
• Assist with invoicing, budget tracking, and cost reconciliation across projects.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve discrepancies in project financial data.
