Job summary

You will support client billing, project financial administration, and accounts receivable across transportation, land development, and infrastructure projects in VA and DC. You will work with Project Managers and Finance staff to ensure accurate invoicing while maintaining project records, budgets, and contract compliance.

Qualifications

• 0-4+ years of related accounting, project billing, or finance experience in a project-based environment.
• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
• Experience with client invoices and contract billing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and process monthly and recurring client invoices.
• Support 15-20 Project Managers with billing and financial administration.
• Maintain project financial records and billing documentation.
• Review contracts for billing compliance and negotiated terms.
• Coordinate billing for diverse project types and government clients.
• Utilize Excel for complex billing calculations and documentation.
• Monitor accounts receivable and aging reports; assist collections as needed.
• Coordinate accounts payable for subconsultants and vendors.
