Job summary

HOK is seeking a Project Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team in a hybrid role based in the Houston office, with on-site presence required three days per week. • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
• 2–4 years of experience in project accounting.
• Experience in architecture/construction firms strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly invoices, budgets, and project management reports.
• Set up and maintain projects in the accounting system per contract terms.
• Track project budgets and input financial data accurately.
• Review cost reports and meet with Project Managers and Finance leadership on status, profitability, and costs.
• Manage consultant invoice processing and communications.
• Assist with revenue recognition and monthly earnings analysis.
• Respond to inquiries from staff, vendors, and clients on financial matters.
