Job summary

Ledcor Group is hiring a Project Accountant to ensure accurate financial data entry and reporting for construction projects in a hybrid work setting in the United States. Qualifications

• 1–2 years of cost accounting experience
• Experience in commercial construction or telecom preferred
• Knowledge of JD Edwards or similar ERP preferred
• Understanding of construction methods
• Equipment utilization and profitability analysis
• Construction accounting principles
• Construction software systems
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Verbal and written communication
• MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage effective project cost control systems
• Interpret and communicate contractual and commercial terms
• Deliver accurate cost reporting and strategic financial insights to leadership
• Support collective agreement development and execution
• Coordinate invoicing documentation, including statutory declarations and compliance certificates
• Prepare and submit LEM reports, progress billings, invoices, and holdback releases
• Validate third‑party invoices and reconcile electronic billing with client systems
• Monitor equipment usage, rental agreements, subcontractors, and ensure contractual compliance
• Support project managers with change orders, payroll coordination, payment resolution, and month‑end journal entries
