Job summary

The Ledcor Group is seeking a Project Accountant in Denver, CO (hybrid) to ensure accurate and timely financial data entry and reporting across project teams. You will manage accounts receivable, payables, subcontractor payments, payroll processing, and support month-end close activities to drive project profitability.

You will interpret contractual terms, provide cost reporting and insights to leadership, and collaborate with management to ensure data completeness and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years in an operational cost accounting role.
• Experience in commercial construction, telecom, or related industry preferred.
• Knowledge of construction accounting principles and methods.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and project cost reporting.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage effective project cost control systems
• Interpret and communicate contractual and commercial terms
• Deliver accurate cost reporting and strategic financial insights to leadership
• Support collective agreement development and execution
• Coordinate invoicing documentation and compliance certificates
• Prepare and submit LEM reports, progress billings, invoices, and holdback releases
• Validate third-party invoices and reconcile billing with client systems
• Monitor equipment usage, subcontractors, and ensure contractual compliance
• Support project managers with change orders, payroll coordination, payment resolution, and month-end journal entries
