Ledcor Construction, Inc. is seeking a Project Accountant to ensure accurate and timely entry and reporting of financial data across project systems.

You will manage accounts receivable, subcontractor payments, payroll processing, equipment time tracking, accounts payable, and support month-end close activities. Collaborate with project teams and management to guarantee data accuracy and timely reporting while applying cost controls, reviewing invoices, and assisting with change orders.

Formación

• 1-2 years of experience in operational cost accounting.
• Experience in commercial construction, Telecom, or related industry preferred.
• Knowledge of JD Edwards or similar large ERP is preferred.
• Working knowledge of construction methods.
• Financial acumen on equipment utilization, rates, capital decisions and profitability analysis.
• Working knowledge of construction accounting principles.
• Working knowledge of construction software systems.
• Strong analytical skills and problem solving.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Implement and manage project cost control systems.
• Interpret and communicate contractual and commercial terms.
• Deliver accurate cost reporting and strategic financial insights to leadership.
• Support collective agreement development and execution.
• Coordinate invoicing documentation, including declarations and compliance certificates.
• Prepare and submit LEM reports, progress billings, invoices, and holdback releases.
• Validate third-party invoices and reconcile billing with client systems.
• Monitor equipment usage, rental agreements, subcontractors, and ensure contractual compliance.
• Support project managers with change orders, payroll coordination, payment resolution, and month-end journal entries.
