Job summary

Ledcor Group is seeking a Project Accountant to ensure accurate and timely financial data entry and reporting for construction projects. You will manage accounts receivable, subcontractor payments, payroll processing, equipment tracking, and month-end close support in a hybrid role based in Reno, NV or Cincinnati, OH.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in operational cost accounting.
• Experience in commercial construction, telecom, or related fields preferred.
• Knowledge of large ERP systems (JD Edwards or similar) preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage project cost control systems.
• Interpret and communicate contractual and commercial terms to teams.
• Deliver accurate cost reporting and provide insights to leadership.
• Coordinate invoicing, declarations, and compliance documentation.
• Prepare LEM reports, progress billings, invoices, and holdback releases.
• Validate third-party invoices and reconcile with client systems.
• Monitor equipment usage, subcontractors, and ensure contractual compliance.
• Assist project managers with change orders, payroll coordination, and month-end journal entries.
