Job summary

Ledcor Construction, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Accountant to oversee a broad set of project accounting functions for major projects.

You will partner with project and operations leadership to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and actionable insights that drive project performance. The role covers accounts receivable, subcontract administration, payroll, equipment time entry, accounts payable, month-end close, forecasting, and analysis.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Post‑secondary business degree required.
• Experience in commercial construction, telecom, or related industry preferred.
• Knowledge of JD Edwards or similar ERP is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project costs and provide insights for decision-making.
• Implement and maintain cost-control systems to keep projects within budget.
• Explain contract terms to stakeholders and leadership.
• Prepare and report project financials and interpretations.
• Coordinate invoicing, LEMs, and third-party billings.
• Manage monthly equipment billings, progress invoices, and holdbacks.
