Job summary

VHB is seeking a Project Accountant to join our Northeast Regional Finance team in either New York, NY or Princeton, NJ with a hybrid schedule. In this role, you'll partner with project managers, finance colleagues, and technical teams across multiple markets to support project delivery and financial processes.

This position offers growth within a collaborative, purpose-driven environment and exposure to diverse project types, including transportation, real estate, institutional, and energy work.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Management, or equivalent experience.
• 0-4 years of related accounting, finance, billing, or equivalent experience (preferably within the AEC industry).
• Knowledge of Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint or other similar financial applications a plus.

• Preparation and processing of client invoices and contract documents
• Client and sub-consultant contract maintenance
• Assistance with project setup, budgeting and monitoring
