Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in PE, Health or education, educational administration, or related area.
• Three (3) years of K-12 experience in PE or Health as a teacher and/or within the educational field.
• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion; ability to lead public-sector initiatives around anti-racist objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provide statewide leadership for Physical Education, Health, and CSHE; align systems and practices to expand equitable access.
• Oversee policy development, implementation, and rollout of learning standards with professional learning and guidance.
• Collaborate with state agencies, educational organizations, and stakeholders to inform policy and implementation.
