Job summary

The State of Connecticut, Department of Children and Families (DCF) Foster Care Division seeks a full-time Children and Families Program Supervisor to lead centralized oversight of 50+ congregate care programs operating 24/7. The role is located in Central Office, Hartford, with a hybrid schedule and statewide travel.

Ideal candidates will have eight years of child welfare experience, at least one year in supervision, and the ability to supervise PNMI reviews, monitor outcomes, and drive quality

Qualifications

• Eight (8) years of professional experience in child welfare or a related field.
• One (1) year of supervisory experience over professional staff.
• College training can substitute for experience at 15 semester hours per half-year, up to four years for a Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Manage a program component with oversight and evaluation of clinical or behavioral programs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and department mandates.
• Schedule, supervise, and review staff; develop policies and coordinate with other units.
