Job summary

Department of Children and Families is seeking a Program Supervisor to oversee a network of over fifty congregate care programs operating 24/7 for youth in Hartford, CT. The role requires supervision of staff conducting reviews, meetings with providers, and monitoring program outcomes, with statewide travel as needed.

The position is hybrid and full-time, based in Hartford within the Behavioral Health Division, and demands strong organizational skills and experience with child welfare systems

Qualifications

• Eight years of professional experience in child welfare, protective services, foster care, adoption, or social and human services.
• One year of supervisory experience over professional staff in child welfare, protective services, children's mental health, or juvenile justice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with relationships across multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Familiarity with prevention/diversion/intervention services for youth and families.
• Knowledge of Connecticut provider network and systems of care.
• Experience managing provider partnerships and monitoring provider performance using data and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of staff conducting Private Non-Medical Institutions reviews.
• Lead provider meetings and program outcome monitoring.
• Oversee incident follow-up and quality assurance.
• Coordinate with statewide partners; travel statewide as required.
• Hybrid, full-time position based in Hartford with travel.
