Job summary

NAMI Tennessee is hiring a Manager, Program and Outreach to lead statewide outreach, program initiatives, and volunteer engagement across Tennessee. You will oversee program quality, growth, and sustainability, collaborating with affiliate networks, partners, and staff to expand access to mental health education and advocacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field and nonprofit experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication with partners and volunteers.
• Experience leading outreach, education, and program initiatives.
• Ability to manage multiple programs and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation and technical assistance to affiliates on volunteer development and program implementation.
• Lead the Volunteer Orientation pilot and oversee volunteer screening and placement.
• Maintain program databases, produce dashboards and reports for outcomes and grants.
• Develop partnerships with schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations.
• Represent NAMI Tennessee at events and coordinate statewide outreach initiatives.
• Support statewide education programs and NAMI On Campus clubs.
