Job summary

Aspen Institute, headquartered in Washington, DC, seeks a Program Manager for the Aspen Strategy Group to lead and coordinate high-level leadership programs and events. You will work closely with the Director and Deputy Director to advance the Rising Leaders Program and launch the Albright International Leaders Program in 2027.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in International Relations, Political Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience.
• Meticulous attention to detail is essential.
• Excellent communication, writing, editing, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a small-team environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects for the Rising Leaders Program, including applications, seminars, policy paper editing, and publications.
• Plan and execute alumni programming for the Rising Leaders Program.
• Launch and oversee the Albright International Leaders Program (AILP) recruitment and programming.
• Provide programmatic and logistical support across ASG portfolios and events.
• Draft external correspondence for participants and stakeholders.
• Translate broad objectives into actionable plans and prioritize tasks.
