Job summary

Towson, MD is the location for Black & Decker (U.S.) Inc. as a Program Manager in a hybrid role requiring on-site work three days a week. You will apply manufacturing knowledge and NPD experience to develop timing plans, manage risks, and influence senior stakeholders while collaborating across business units to meet objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, mathematics, or related field is required.
• New product development experience is required.
• 2+ years of program management and leadership experience.
• Familiarity with basic structured project management methodologies.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production planning.
• Strong business financial understanding and ability to lead meetings.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project P&L and key drivers affecting financial health and margins.
• Develop and maintain timing and action plans for moderate scope projects.
• Coordinate data acquisition to inform strategic decisions.
• Identify problems, perform root-cause analysis, and implement solutions.
• Partner with development and delivery teams on NPD and product maintenance.
• Incorporate consumer and market insights into project execution.
• Prepare status reports and risk guidance for management with recovery plans.
• Lead or support projects with higher risk, complexity and capital spend.
