Job summary

United Way of Massachusetts Bay is seeking an experienced Program Manager to coordinate daily activities of our Community Schools Strategy. This grant-funded role focuses on coordinating projects that support students, families, and partners across our footprint.

The ideal candidate has strong project management skills, experience in education settings, and an equity-centered approach. Hybrid work with in-person Boston office days is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a public school, educational, or youth-supporting setting.
• Experience with virtual and/or in-person facilitation.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects.
• Ability to analyze problems and strategize solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience with program evaluation and data collection systems.
• Commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and promoting multicultural awareness.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and coordinate activities of the Community Schools strategy.
• Organize timelines and assign team tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
• Support internal alignment within United Way.
• Lead special projects within the Community Schools strategy.
• Develop and implement systems for project management within the strategy.
