Job summary

Serco is seeking a Program Finance Analyst to join our fast-paced team, handling full life-cycle program finances with strong Excel acumen and familiarity with financial systems. The role requires US citizenship and at least 2 years of related experience, with a hybrid schedule out of the San Diego area and potential for full-time telework for the right candidate.

2+ years of professional experience in a related field.
Advanced Proficiency in MS Excel.
Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and accounting/finance principles.

Responsibilities

Provide cost, schedule and funding planning, reporting, monitoring and analysis support to Program Managers including WBS, BOEs and time-phased budgets/EACs.
Support accounts receivable during billing processing and invoice backup as required.
Monitor billing status and unbilled issues with Contracts, Accounting and PMO to resolve issues promptly.
Oversee preparation of subcontractor and vendor accruals as services are received per GAAP/IFRS and internal policies.
Participate in monthly business rhythms of program and finance organizations and support program reviews.
Administer formal aspects of program control following accounting principles and company policies.
