Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a Program Finance Analyst to join our hybrid team in San Diego, CA, handling full life-cycle program finances, including cost, schedule, and funding planning, and providing timely analysis for multiple projects.

You will work with PMO, contracts, and accounting, develop budgets and EACs, support billing, sub/vendor accruals, and revenue recognition, demonstrating strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 2 years professional experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and contracting practices.
• Advanced MS Excel proficiency.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

• Provide cost, schedule and funding planning, reporting, monitoring and analysis support to Program Managers including WBS, BOEs and development of time-phased budgets/EACs and schedules.
• Support accounts receivable during billing processing and provide invoice backup when required.
• Monitor billing status and unbilled issues with Contracts, Accounting and PMO to resolve.
• Oversee preparation of subcontractor and vendor accruals in line with GAAP/IFRS and internal policies.
• Support monthly business rhythms of both program and finance organizations through meetings and reviews.
• Administer formal aspects of program control per accounting principles and company policies.
• Complete finance inputs for project setup and revenue recognition as per contractual terms.
• Liaise between operations and admin on financial issues; interface with subcontractors, vendors, and customers.
