Job summary

RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company, seeks a cost controls professional in McKinney, TX, with a hybrid work model. You will perform Earned Value Management (EVM), baseline development, variance analysis, and program reporting for defense programs.

Responsibilities include preparing EACs/LREs, coordinating with CAMs and PMs, funding tracking, and delivering internal financial reports on schedule. Requires 5+ years in EVM roles and a finance/business degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience; or advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
• Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) concepts and Budget Baseline Management.

Responsibilities

• Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) activities, including cost and schedule baseline development, integration, maintenance, variance analysis, and reporting.
• Prepare Estimates at Completion (EACs) and Latest Revised Estimates (LREs) using established processes, tools, and reports.
• Coordinate with Program Managers, Control Account Managers (CAMs), and program team members regarding cost, schedule, and financial performance.
• Prepare, review, and submit program reports, including IPMR and CFSR, in accordance with established reporting requirements and schedules.
• Monitor program funding requirements, prepare funding requests, and track funding status.
• Coordinate financial and program information with applicable functional organizations to support reporting requirements.
• Complete assigned financial and program control activities in accordance with established deadlines.
