Job summary

The Washington State Housing Finance Commission in Seattle seeks a Program Compliance Administrator in the Homeownership Division to oversee in-house programs for single-family homeownership, manage daily files, and lead a team to improve processes while ensuring IRS and program compliance.

You will review loan files, support lenders, generate reports, conduct post-closing audits, and provide guidance on programs like House Key, MCC loans, and down payment assistance.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise as a loan processor or underwriter with FHA, VA, USDA, and conventional loans.
• Deep familiarity with state bond loan programs and related down payment assistance.
• Mastery in pre/post closing and servicing quality control audits per major guidelines.
• Advanced technical skills in mortgage software and financial platforms.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements for IRS programs and related loans.
• Review, interpret, and apply complex codes, policies, and procedures.
• Manage program fund allocation and daily loan reservations.
• Provide lender support and generate detailed system reports.
• Lead process improvements and deliver strategic program reports.
