Job summary

IDEXX Laboratories, Inc. in Maine is seeking a Production Planner to build and manage the production plan for our manufacturing departments.

You will partner with Westbrook production teams to schedule the right product at the right time and in the right quantity, ensuring on-time delivery of components and finished goods. In this role you will maintain master data, manage dating and shelf-life, and drive continuous improvement in planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; experience in supply chain/planning preferred.
• Lean methodologies experience a plus.
• APICS/ISM/ASCM certification is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Schedule products to deliver the supply plan.
• Collaborate with Westbrook production teams to plan components.
• Open and manage work orders to keep production on schedule.
• Maintain master data to support system-driven production plans.
• Trace BOM connections to understand impact of changes.
• Manage product dating to meet shelf-life requirements.
• Identify scrap reduction opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
• Cross-train with other planners to build a flexible team.
• Lead production planning meetings and related processes.
• Stay current on industry best practices in planning.
