The position drives inventory health, supports SIOP activities, and maintains master data in ERP/MRP systems while partnering with multiple functions to reduce shortages and improve planning discipline.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of materials planning, production planning, or procurement support in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of MRP concepts: lead times, safety stock, reorder points, policy settings.
• Experience creating, releasing, and managing production work orders and PO requirements.
• Ability to assess material availability, capacity constraints and inventory risks.
• Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent communication to align cross-functional teams on priorities and recovery actions.
• Attention to detail and discipline maintaining ERP/MRP data.

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate daily and weekly production schedules based on demand, capacity, material availability, and constraints.
• Translate demand, safety stock, and MRP signals into internal work orders and PO requirements.
• Release and manage internal work orders through completion with accurate routings and material needs.
• Collaborate with Buyers to execute and track purchase orders, confirmations, and exceptions.
• Monitor safety stock and replenishment targets, close shortages, and manage schedule adherence.
• Identify constraints affecting schedules and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve.
