Job summary

International Dairy Queen, Inc. (IDQ) seeks an Associate Product Development Manager to lead new product design for Dairy Queen.

You will work with the Product Development Director across functions, driving projects from concept to cost‑efficient execution while maintaining quality and marketplace competitiveness. The role requires a science background, 3–5 years in product development, and strong collaboration and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in food science, chemistry or related field.
• 3–5 years of product development experience in a food service company, QSR preferred.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; able to influence cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Develop new products for Dairy Queen with creative and technical focus.
• Collaborate with suppliers to develop ingredients and finalize product specs.
• Conduct evaluations using analytical and sensory methods to ensure quality.
• Lead ideation sessions and translate ideas into testable concepts.
• Travel up to 10% domestically and internationally for project needs.
