Job summary

Intel is seeking a Process Integration Development Engineer to design, run, and analyze experiments advancing semiconductor technology. You will drive process performance improvements, qualify materials and equipment, and support technology transfers to high-volume manufacturing, all within LTD in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in relevant engineering or science field or Master’s with 4+ years industry experience.
• Experience with materials characterization techniques (SEM, TEM, spectroscopy) or metrology tools.
• Experience with semiconductor processing fundamentals (lithography, etching, polishing) and device physics.
• Experience with statistical or data analysis tools (MATLAB, JMP, Excel) and DOE principles.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute experiments to characterize processes throughout development and improve product performance.
• Develop and qualify materials and equipment to meet reliability, cost, and manufacturability requirements.
• Conduct feasibility studies and identify process solutions with product and module engineering teams.
• Leverage big data analysis to identify and resolve process design weaknesses or tool issues.
• Lead new product qualifications and ensure technology transfers to high-volume manufacturing using Copy Exactly methodology.
• Collaborate with development teams and material suppliers to align processes with technology roadmaps.
• Organize and present process solutions to engineering teams to address customer requests or resolve issues.
