Job summary

The City of Bellevue is seeking a Probation Program Coordinator to oversee probation programs and support electronic home monitoring (EHM) and Bellevue Work Crew services. This full-time role coordinates assignments, maintains records, and collaborates with Court, Prosecutor, and community partners to deliver evidence-based programs for probation clients.

Standard hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in criminal justice, public administration, social sciences, or other related field.
• Two or more years of professional related experience in probation work or other criminal justice area.
• Completion of the Misdemeanant Probation Academy or Probation Officers Academy required.
• Must be certified to facilitate programs and services offered by the Probation Division or obtain required certification within a designated timeframe.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise a caseload of clients in electronic home monitoring and Bellevue Work Crew programs.
• Facilitate cognitive behavioral and other evidence-based probation programs for clients and maintain required certifications.
• Coordinate work assignments, monitor attendance and compliance, and partner with community organizations.
• Install, monitor, and troubleshoot electronic monitoring equipment as ordered by the Court.
• Assist clients with licensing barriers and connect to resources and services.
• Conduct intake interviews, assess eligibility, explain program requirements, and monitor compliance.
• Gather and maintain data from multiple sources and complete required documentation.
• Provide reports and testimony for Court and coordinate with partners as needed.
