Job summary

Ingredion in Bedford Park, IL is seeking a Principal Technologist, Technical Service to lead technical support for global and regional customers. You will provide formulation expertise primarily in batters & breadings and savory applications for large global accounts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to showcase ingredient solutions and manage technical projects.

The role reports to the Senior Project Leader, T&HS, US/CAN.

Qualifications

5+ years of product development and Technical Service experience, preferably in batters & breadings and savory applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for formulation development and troubleshooting.
Excellent written and oral communication to present technical information.

Responsibilities

Lead technical execution for key accounts and deliver on strategic roadmaps.
Collaborate with customers to co-create food concepts and present solutions at meetings.
Support sales and marketing initiatives with technical leadership and category expertise.
Drive category growth as a CET peer leader and develop strategic initiatives.
Manage multiple complex projects with strong PM skills.
Introduce innovative technologies through internal and customer collaboration.
Design, supervise, and analyze experiments to resolve formulation challenges.
Mentor others in ingredient functionality across applications.
Monitor market trends to inform technical strategies.
