Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Senior Finance professional to lead pricing strategy and financial analysis for as-a-Service engagements. The role partners with sales and pursuit teams to shape deals, evaluate assumptions, and optimize cost structures for maximum ROI.

You will present HPE P&L for approvals, advise on risks, and collaborate with executives across Sales, Finance, Compliance, and Tax to ensure compliant and profitable outcomes. Hybrid work with in-office days is required.

Qualifications

• First level university degree with a focus in business or economics.
• Advanced degree or accounting certification (CPA/MBA) preferred.
• 6+ years experience.
• Pricing experience required.
• Experience partnering with senior leadership required.

Responsibilities

• Review deal structure & pricing for Greenlake (as a Service), Advisory and Professional Consulting and Custom Support opportunities
• Evaluate assumptions and analyze opportunities against HPE Accounting Standards to form pricing strategy
• Analyze cost structures and optimize levers to improve HPE’s ability to win
• Partner with Sales & Pursuit team in deal shaping, and perform pricing simulations for Customers
• Create, Evaluate and Present HPE P&L for deal approvals
• Financial advisor for presales / sales / account team
• Assess and quantify risk, suggest plans to mitigate risks
• Consult and provide required documentation to support the approval (OBR) process
• Interact with Senior Executives (Sales and Finance) during deal pursuit and play active role in decision making
• Establish positive working relationships with the Pursuit and other functional teams, to get the best understanding of the existing cost structure possible
• Work with Compliance/Revenue Recognition Office/Tax /Operations teams to address risks in solutions and propose mitigations
• Lead the transformation efforts on as a Service pricing execution
