Job summary

Everest Global Services, Inc. is seeking a Pricing Actuary, Casualty to support Everest’s Primary Casualty business. This hybrid role can be based in Warren, NY City, Stamford, or Philadelphia, offering high-energy individuals opportunities to develop new tools and capabilities in a rapidly expanding area.

The position emphasizes strong technical pricing, analytics, and collaboration with underwriting teams, with significant model development and vendor data assessment responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in the property-casualty insurance industry with significant commercial lines pricing experience.
• Previous pricing and/or modeling experience is desired but not essential.
• Approaching ACAS
• Excel expertise a must.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following is a plus: SQL, Excel VBA, Power BI, R, SAS, Python

Responsibilities

• Providing Senior Management with key strategic information
• Analytics and system support
• Development & enhancement of pricing and accumulation models
• Research and assess vendor models and third party data. Make recommendations regarding the purchase of models and data.
• Model exposures, produce summarized output and communicate results.
• Collaborate with underwriting, catastrophe modeling and enterprise risk management teams on various projects and deliverables.
• Work closely with underwriters and underwriting assistants to price and model complex accounts.
