Job summary

Everest Global Services, Inc. is seeking an Actuary for Commercial Property Pricing. The hybrid role supports pricing, analytics, and modernization across multiple offices including Warren, NJ, with responsibilities spanning modeling, portfolio analysis, and regulatory support.

The ideal candidate has near-ACAS status and 5+ years in property pricing or related analytics, strong data skills in Excel and programming tools, and excellent communication to translate results into business actions.

Qualifications

• Near-ACAS with strong property pricing experience.
• 5+ years actuarial experience, preferably in property pricing or related analytics.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with complex data translation.
• Experience with actuarial pricing tools, data analytics, and modeling techniques.
• Familiarity with catastrophe modeling concepts and property pricing preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel and large datasets; Python, SQL, R or similar tools preferred.
• Strong communication skills to explain concepts to stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a cross-functional environment.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn new systems and pricing methods.

Responsibilities

• Support pricing tools and methodologies for Commercial Property products.
• Perform pricing, profitability, rate change, trend, and portfolio analyses.
• Assist with annual planning activities and actuarial assumptions.
• Support pricing modernization, model development, testing and implementation.
• Contribute to portfolio impact analyses for strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, CAT Modeling, IT, and other teams.
• Improve governance and documentation of pricing processes.
• Assist with regulatory, filing, reinsurance and ad hoc requests.
• Develop exhibits translating analyses into business insights.
