Job summary

Everest Insurance seeks an experienced Actuary, Cat Pricing to develop and lead catastrophe pricing across major perils. The role integrates Verisk/Moody's outputs into actionable pricing, with emphasis on risk-adjusted returns and underwriting alignment.

Hybrid position based out of Warren, NJ, with additional locations in Boston, NYC, Stamford or Philadelphia. Strong analytics and communication skills are essential to convey pricing concepts to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of actuarial pricing experience in property lines.
• Expertise with catastrophe modeling platforms (Verisk, Moody's).
• Experience integrating CAT modeling into pricing and portfolio decisions.
• Advanced analytics skills; SQL and Python/R preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute CAT pricing strategies across key perils and geographies.
• Translate model outputs into pricing metrics and underwriting guidance.
• Monitor CAT accumulation, analyze rate adequacy and profitability.
• Support portfolio optimization with attachment points and deductibles.
