Job summary

UNC Health is seeking a Precision Oncology Pharmacist to support UNC Health Oncology Practices across North Carolina. The role centers on evidence-based biomarker testing and targeted therapy guidance within the Precision Oncology Program.

The pharmacist will engage in tumor boards, develop biomarker testing workflows, and contribute to quality initiatives while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and residents.

Qualifications

• Extensive clinical pharmacotherapy knowledge in Hematology/Oncology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to design and implement clinical projects and analyze data.
• Board certification in Oncology Pharmacy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret molecular testing results for solid tumor patients and advise on biomarker-guided therapies.
• Provide pharmacogenetic drug-gene interaction information to physicians.
• Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Align practice with medication management goals and conduct QA/QI activities.
• Educate staff on guideline updates and precision oncology advancements.
• Lead teaching activities with students and residents and participate in committees.
