Job summary

Ford Racing is seeking a Powertrain Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist to bridge engineering objectives with the global supply base. You will drive end-to-end procurement for mission-critical powertrain goods, ensuring timely availability against the BOM while mitigating risks and improving supplier performance.

This hybrid role requires four+ onsite days in Allen Park, MI, partnering with Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and suppliers to maintain race-ready component flow and program

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Supply Chain, Engineering or Business).
• 2+ years in managing the complete supply chain lifecycle with forecasting, scheduling, and supplier performance.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional discussions.
• Experience with ERP/MRP inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the cross-functional team specialist to all Powertrain programs for procurement and MP&L coordination of goods and services.
• Identify operational gaps and provide risk assessments to leadership.
• Liaise between supplier, Engineering, Quality and Purchasing to harmonize the voice of the business.
• Develop KPIs to rate suppliers based on service level and quality.
• Develop and manage purchasing workflows with configuration change control.
