Job summary

Alliance North America, headquartered in Henderson, NV, seeks an Electrical Systems Engineer to help develop next-generation hybrid power generation and energy systems. You will translate stakeholder needs into clear system requirements, architectures, and interfaces, contributing from concept through validation and production release.

The ideal candidate has a structured systems-thinking approach and a background spanning electrical, mechanical, controls/software, thermal, and manufacturing

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's in Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or closely related field.
• Experience: 3+ years in product-development or systems-engineering in automotive/industrial settings.
• Requirements capability: Contribute to requirements, specs, acceptance criteria, interfaces, and docs.
• Risk-management: DFMEA or design-risk review experience.
• Communication: Clear cross-functional communication of requirements, risks, decisions, and actions.
• Availability: Full-time, on-site at Henderson, NV facility.

Responsibilities

• Define high-level product functions, use cases, operating modes, state transitions, and expected behaviors for new products.
• Translate stakeholder needs into measurable, verifiable system requirements and specs, incl. performance, environment, safety, and regulatory constraints.
• Allocate system requirements across subsystems and identify owners, assumptions, and open decisions.
• Maintain functional architectures, block diagrams, state diagrams, and interface matrices for power and CAN/J1939.
• Define hardware/software/controls interfaces and normal/diagnostic/shutdown behaviors.
• Support DFMEA, risk reviews, and hazard analyses; track risk-reduction actions.
• Assist with system verification planning, traceability, and documentation.
